Delhi's Metro is a state-of-the-art rail transport facility. It has proved to be a boon for millions of people in the capital. Having this facility saves time, labor and money. This has reduced the burden of road traffic, people have now started to travel comfortably by Metro Rail, avoiding the crowds of bus and dust and boring travel.
Although the Bhedon railway started running in Delhi in 2002, it is still in operation on new routes. Due to the running of Metro rail, the pollution level in Delhi has reduced already. Metro Rail is a fully automated and air conditioned facility.
It runs the entire rule at regular intervals. There is good sanitation in stations and bogies. People buy tokens or use relatively cheap smart cards to travel in it. Metro Rail can be called the pride of India's capital. It is the duty of the local public to keep it clean.The Violet Line is one of the six lines of the Delhi Metro which is a rapid transit system in Delhi India. The line connects Kashmiri Gate station in New Delhi to Escorts Mujasser in Faridabad. The line has 32 metro stations with a total length of 40.35 kilometers (25.07 mi). Is The Central Secretariat - Sarita Vihar Route was opened on 3 October 2010 and was extended to Badarpur on 14 January 2011.The line extended from the Central Secretariat to Mandi House. It was extended to ITO on 26 June 2014 and further on 8 June 2015. The line was then extended to the Kashmiri Gate Metro Station on 28 May 2017 via Delhi Gate Jama Masjid and Red Fort. The section between ITO and Kashmiri Gate metro station is very popular and it is also called heritage line.
